CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Parent/Tot: Ages 15 mos. to 3 years Boys & Girls; 30 min class of learning and fun! Parent participates with their child. The instructor gives the lesson as the parent follows along and assists the child throughout the class. Children learn basic motor skills, following directions, and getting along with peers.
Tumble Tots: Ages 3 years Boys & Girls; 45 min class; small class sizes; basic gymnastics moves, introduction to equipment, motor skills and exercises to music.
Kid A Round: Ages 4 & 5 years Boys & Girls; 45 min class; small class sizes; basic gymnastics moves, introduction to equipment, motor skills and exercises to music. Must have instructor approval to move to next level.
GYMNASTICS RECREATIONAL PROGRAM
BEGINNING GIRLS: 1-hour class; once or twice a week; students work on the following: forward & backward rolls, cartwheels, backbends, back walkovers, round offs & basic skills on equipment. Must have instructor approval to move to next level.
BEGINNING BOYS: 1-hour class; once or twice a week; students work on forward & backward rolls, cartwheels, handstands, round offs, Core, Arms, and legs; develops speed, strength, flexibility, & balance; basic skills on the 6 men's disciplines; (excellent cross training for all sports!) Must have instructor approval to move to next level.
INTERMEDIATE GIRLS: 1 ½-hour class; once or twice a week; student must be able to do a front limber & back walkover; class works on the following: front walkovers, front & back handsprings, further skills on equipment, strength & flexibility. Must have instructor approval to move to next level.
INTERMEDIATE BOYS: 2-hour class; once or twice a week; student works on round off, front & back handsprings, handstands, round off back handspring with spot, conditioning, core, arms, legs; Intermediate skills on 6 men's disciplines; develops further speed, strength, flexibility, & balance; (possible team competition and/or excellent cross training for any sport!) Must have instructor approval to move to next level.
ADVANCED GIRLS: 2-hour class; once or twice a week; student must be able to do a round-off back-handspring without a spot; class works on round off back-handsprings, aerials, saltos, & advanced skills on the equipment.
ADVANCED BOYS: 2-hour class; once or twice a week; students must be able to do a roundoff back handspring; students work - handstands, front and back saltos; speed, strength, flexibility & balance; conditioning, core, arms, legs; advanced skills on equipment; 6 men's disciplines.
GymNinja PROGRAM
Little GymNinjas: Ages 5 years Boys & Girls 3/4 hour class - introduction for balance, coordination, strength, & flexibility, with a mix of basic gymnastic and ninja skills!! A fun and challenging class for the little ones. Prizes for winners of the course!
Beginning GymNinja: Ages 6 - 12 years Boys & Girls -1 hour class - develops speed, strength, flexibility, and balance with a mix of gymnastic and ninja skills!! A fun and challenging way to build on physical skills while practicing the challenges on our GymNinja courses. Prizes for winners of the course!
Intermediate GymNinja: Ages 8 - 14 years Boys -1 hour class; Girls 1 hour class - develops speed, strength, flexibility, and balance with a mix of gymnastic and ninja skills!! A more challenging class building on greater physical skills while practicing Intermediate challenges on our GymNinja courses. Prizes for winners of the course! Must have instructor approval to participate at this level.
HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASTICS PROGRAM
HIGH SCHOOL OPTIONAL GIRLS: 2 to 6 hours a week; open to any advanced level high school female who is interested in supplementing her training. includes bars, beam, vault & floor, strength & flexibility. This class can be very valuable for girls with desire to progress during their off season.
TUMBLING PROGRAM
BEGINNING TUMBLING: Boys & Girls; 1-hour class; once or twice a week; Work on basic cheer tumbling skills; rolls, handstands, cartwheels, round offs & back-handsprings. Must have instructor approval to move to next level.
INTERMEDIATE TUMBLING: Boys & Girls; 1-hour class; once or twice a week; must be able to do a back-handspring with a spot - work on round-off back-handspring; introduce front tumbling. Must have instructor approval to move to next level.
ADVANCED TUMBLING: Boys & Girls; 1-hour class; once or twice a week; must be able to do a round-off back-handspring; work on tucks, layouts and fulls along with variations of these skills. Also front tumbling skills continued.
ALL-SPORTS CONDITIONING PROGRAM
All-SPORTS CONDITIONING: Boys & Girls; 1-hour class; once a week; class works on strength and conditioning for off season sports cross training; fun and challenging way to keep in good physical shape.
